Are There Different Kinds of Online Auction Sites?

Every knows www.eBay.com which is a 'normal' auction site. I recent found www.GlobalBidders.com and love their concept. It's a 'reverse auction' system where you can win auctions for a fraction of their retail price. So far I love using their site, but I'm curious, are there other kinds of auctions online?
