Would you sell on an auction site that was free?

Ebay charges for you to sell yet SumoBid.com doesn't. Would that make you want to sell on SumoBid.com?

  1. yes
  2. Even though the other site might be free, ebay sellers and buyers are verified. No matter even if you do sell something on the other site, it doesn't mean you will get your money. I had rather spend the average 3 1/2 percent of total sale than not get anything at all. Plus there are more users on ebay than anywhere else in the world. I hope this helps!
  3. Read the fine print. Sumobid.com isn't free either.
  4. I suggest you try www.craigslist.org. It allows you to advertise for free and gets an incredible number of hits. I personally use Ebay, but you do have to be careful or the listing fees can eat you up. If your looking for some ideas and what to sell, and how to market your products, check out the dozens of free articles at the site listed below.
  5. No, I would not sell on an auction that's free. How does a company stay in business if they aren't taking in any revenue? How do they pay web developers, fraud specialists, etc? Remember, if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. A business has to ultimately make a profit to stay in business.
  6. I know that http://www.free-auctions.net is 100% free, no fees at all but they are a new site and don't have that many members yet. Ebay is the best place because they have all the traffic, but their fees are outrageous. I searched for "free auctions" and free-auctions.net was #3 on yahoo, so hopefully they'll get big and have a lot of traffic.
  7. I use Zbids free auction at http://www.Zbids.net
