why won't my HTML code work?

<bgsound src="URL HERE" loop="-1"> this code is to put background music into a picture of myspace but I guess the url is too long, how can I make it shorter. is for the profile picture in the caption thing

1. Myspace just sucks in general.
2. i always used < imbed src "link"
3. There is no url "tooo long" for html. you need it to use a plug in like activ x or something. myspace sucks
4. it is not possible to make a URL smaller unless you're posting a URL from a secondary site(Not the original location Site)
5. I've never heard of a URL being too long for a code to work. Anyway that code works to put in background music, the thing that I see wrong with the code you put up is the -1. Replace that -1 with a positive number or if you want it to constantly repeat just type in "infinite" in its place. Hope that helped you out.
6. use http://www.tinyurl.com. you take your long url and put it into the little box there and it makes it tiny.
