i bid on a car in a auction online@OLX.com and won, but seller wont contact me.?

i bid on a car in a auction online@OLX.com, the seller didnt set a reserve price for the car, thats probably worth about 20 grand, and when the auction was over i was sent an email from OLX.com saying congrats!!! i was the high bidder and was given the sellers email address to contact him for payment options. i won the auction on the the 24th of june i have sent two emails to the seller with no response. i have looked over the auction rules over and over to see if some how i missed something or if im wrong but i cant find anything. i even contacted the site for info and they sent me an email saying to try to contact the seller again but that was it. maybe im wrong and i didnt win, but maybe because of the seller not setting a reserve price i did. either way i need to know so anybody who would know of anything to help, would help alot. thankx

  1. You probably didn't meet his price. Can't force him to sell even though he didn't set a minimum bid. Check the site in the future and you will probably see it again.
  2. Get the phone number of the seller.
  3. Let's turn this around - if you won the auction and refused to acknowledge the seller, he would be in pretty much the same position. If you won the car fair and square, meaning there was no reserve, I don't think he can legally not sell you the car. If you really wanted to press the issue, you could probably sue the seller for breach of contract, but it would cost you some money to do it.
