How do I get the advertisement off of my website?

I'm using Sitesled for my website and an advertisement from adbrite keeps showing up and Sitesled says that they don't place ads on their users sites and I didn't put it there either. I did use a free HTML template from 2createawebsite, so I'm assuming it's from that. However, I have very limited knowledge in HTML and I can't figure out where the code is for the advertisement! Is there a way to get the ad off without messing up the website I've already worked alot on or should I start from scratch with my own or different template? Also, if you could direct me to some free easy html templates without ads, that would be appreciated! Thanks in advanced!

  1. If the ad is from that template you used its just a matter of finding it and deleting it. Most likely its a few simple lines in the form of a link or a javascript. If you want to avoid stuff like this in the future, your best bet is to learn html and css you can make some pretty nice personal sites using just those two.
