How do I make a transparent background on my images using html?
I want to make my own "virtual pumpkin maker," and I have already created images that I want to use for the pumpkin maker using the Microsoft paint program. When I uploaded onto my website, the images just end up with white backgrounds and don't work when trying to drag and drop onto eachother. I need an html code or something to make the white background transparent.
I'm a newbie to html, so I just need a copy and paste code, and then I put in my picture URL and the drag and drop code.

- u must have saved the pumpkin files as bitmap file (.BMP).. u shud save them as .GIF if u want transparent backgrounds..and no u cant create transparent images in paint..use some other application such as photoshop
- Images can't be made transparent by using HTML. You must save them as transparent PNG:s or GIF:s. Download the free image program Paint.net for a simple program that can do this.
- hey if u wanna go for virtual pumkin maker make sure the pumkin image has a transparent background and saved as a gif format bcz this file format supports transparent background of one color (default white) and paint is not made for that however it can save file as gif but doesnt have an ability to make it transparent bcz saving only in gif doesnt mean that the image has saved with transparent background in photoshop there are setting while saving for compression , quality and many much more whereas paint dont have any settings option however if u fix one mspaint support transparent copy and paste in it file but after that pasting all becomes bitmap hope it helps you plz rank my answer
