How do I resize, make smaller, my pictures on eBay?

I like to sale things on eBay. I'm a casual seller. Here is my problem: I uploaded all my pictures onto a photo hosting site. I then put them on eBay, avoiding the cost of posting lots of pictures. However, they are to wide and pull my template apart. I want 500-550 for the width and my photos are 800 wide. I'm was wondering if there is an html code that I need to enter. Or a code that will make all my pictures this width. If not them I guess I'll have to use a different template. Thank you. :) Re-sizing it on my PC does me no good. Once I've uploaded it onto my photo hosting site. From there I create HTML codes that can be placed within my listing. However - - - When I thought about it I dediced to see if my hosting site had a "resize" option on all photos I'd added. Sure enough it did. Thanks for all answers, got my brain to working.

  1. You can try <img src="www.yourphotohostingsite.com" width="500" height="123">. This won't shrink your actual picture files, but it should display them at these smaller dimensions.
  2. Open up in paint or photoshop and resize.
  3. If you have any type of photo or image program, which comes on most pcs, you can resize your images to the pixels you need. Find your imaging program and the "help" or "support" section should show you how to resize them. Search words "resize image" or a similar phrase.
  4. There are many online tools to adjust your images size. I would suggest: www.PhotoTuner.com You can quickly set your width to 500 (or whatever) and download the new image.
  5. Ebay rocks! I am glad that you have questions about it. I have been making like $2000 a month on it. Did you know about the free software that you can get that will tell you all of the secrets of ebay? Well a friend of mine passes it along to me so the only right thing to do is share it with the world. Here is the site that I picked it up on. http://ebayauction.freesitehoster.com/Ebayauction.html.txt
