html codes?

I am new at web designing. What is a good site to find html codes? Specifically to make words animated (running script, etc)

  1. http://www.w3schools.com They have tutorials on pretty much all of the common scripting and web design languages, as well as reference libraries, online quizzes and print out cheat sheets. Best of all, it's totally free!
  2. The best resource that any developer could dream of is called Google. Go there and search for HTML tutorials and HTML references - there is a LOT of information available to those who bother to look, and the knowledgebase grows every day! Rawlyn.
  3. http://www.w3schools.com/js/default.asp That's where in the w3schools website you will find things like animated text, etc. That is all JavaScript, not html. Of course, you will want to have a good understanding of html to be able to incorprate the JavaScript into your web page.
  4. although w3schools is a great website, i find that www.tizag.com is better. All of the same stuff but better tutorials on how to create good looking html, javascript, etc
