how to put videos on a basic html webpage?

im just asking if how can i put videos ony my webpage? i think its <embed src="name of the video> am i right? please correct me if im wrong, im using a basic notepad..

  2. i believe you are using the wrong code. you have to have it play on a player the code that you can use is <embed name='RAOCXplayer' autoplay='true' src='http://www.04m.org/myspace2.php?myspace=/asx/15012.asx' type='application/x-mplayer2' width='300' height='300' ShowControls='1' ShowStatusBar='0' AutoSize='true' loop='true' EnableContextMenu='0' pluginspage='http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/Downloads/Contents/Products/MediaPlayer/'></embed> now here is how you can edit the code where is says width and height thats where how you can make it how big it is.. i left the video in there link in there to show you where you can put your video link. now where it says " 'http://www.04m.org/myspace2.php?myspace=/asx/15012.asx' " you put your video link there MAKe sure you do not delete the ' and " the things in front of http and asx hope this helps
