HTML Codes?

Have signed up to a new forum a few days back and was wondering what these codes are for! Please help! * [url][/url] * [ftp][/ftp] * [tt][/tt]

  1. url is to link a site just put the site inbetween the url symbols ftp is for transfrerring files and tt is someting I neve seen sorry

  3. They are forum codes (a variation of HTML) to allow you to add functions or style to your post
  4. the [url][/url] is for links. You would put [url]www.websitegoeshere.com[/url] for a clickable link. the ftp ones are for ftp links to a ftp server. the tt is for typewriting text which would be used for verious pointless things that i can think of.
  5. The <url> tag is used for links The <ftp> tag is used to transfer files The <tt> tag is used to render text in a fixed width typewriter style font
