help with HTML?

ok so i found a free website template i want to use but it is downloading in a ZIP file what am i suppose to do with it now? i have go daddy and i want to use it on there how do i do that? Thanks

  1. You'll have to extract the files from the .zip archive to a folder on your hard drive, where you will then be able to edit and modify the files in whatever way you wish. I find it easiest to put all the html pages I am editing under one "HTML" folder, with subfolders for the various sites or versions of sites under that. Windows will open .zip files natively, otherwise you can download an application to open the file (just do a google search on .zip).
