Making a free website?
So I may be asking the impossible but...
I'm a shutterbug and I want to make a website that I can upload my photos to and I don't want to have to pay cuz I'm cheap (hey, at least I'm honest) I want to be able to have a lot of flexibility in the design since much of the site sites out there have templates and stuff, but they're really cookie-cutter and I don't like that...I don't have much experience at all with HTML and stuff, so it'd be great if I didn't have to use it, but I guess I could figure it out. I want to make my own website with a www.myaddress.com url, too. Any ideas? Or am I crazy? Thanks!

- A good free website is awardspace.com there are no ads and a decent amount of space. You cant get an address (ex: mypage.com) without paying a small monthly fee, but you can go to shorturl.com and make one like mypage.vze.com. you can also try dot.tk where you can get an address like 'mypage.tk' but they will advertise on the page. freewebs.com has a good site designer if you dont like HTML, but they have small ads (no big deal) Hope I was helpful.
- Listen don't be fooled. None are completely free. They all tote free this and free that, Not So. They simply do not give away Free Domain Names, you have to pay. 2ndYes they offer Hosting Free but they add there advertisment. Software is offered by some as a bonus again at a price. Fast, Quick, and easy. Everything you need and reasonable. No tricks and No Problems. http://geocities.yahoo.com/
- You can make a free domain name, though you have to set up a server on a computer that must keep running all day long, it cannot be shut off. Google it. Another thing I suggest is http://www.freedomain.co.nr/. You get a site at a place such as; http://www.freewebs.com/ http://www.awardspace.com/ http://www.110mb.com/ And then you make an account there, and you can choose to cover it up, i.e, while you are browsing the page the redirected url stays at yourname.co.nr, or make it so that it doesn't, i.e, type it into your browser top and it changes into the original location, such as freewebs.com/myname. it isn't a .com domain, it is a .co.nr which tells it was hosted by them. And you MUST have a link to them on the first page, but, hey, I think it is worth it. ;] Hope I helped.
