My flash banner is visible and works in preview using an html editor, but not when placed on website. Thanks?

Using SoThink html editor. Below is the code that works in preview. I have no experience with the and all expertise is appreciated. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><HEAD><TITLE>flash banner</TITLE> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2900.3199" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY><A href="http://www.xoxoxo.com/" target=_blank></A> <OBJECT codeBase=http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0 height=240 width=120 classid=clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000><PARAM NAME="movie" VALUE="xoxoxo_120x240_01.swf"><PARAM NAME="quality" VALUE="high"> <embed src="xoxoxo_120x240_01.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="120" height="240"></embed> </OBJECT></BODY></HTML> Have been testing this banner on myspace for now, so I don't think I can upload the file on that page. I have two files: a swf, and a html that I purchased as a custom banner but can't figure out how to load it on a webpage. Was told by creator that all I need is a html code to be inserted into my webpage to get files to work.

  1. Did you upload the flash application on the website? Check it's permissions, should be: 644 or 755 Also, you have the flash plug-in installed in your browser? ^^
