how do i get started designing a dynamic site. i only know basic html using dreamweaver mx.?

wich is the best way. i have a big project but i don't know how to go about it. help people. give me details. kawa

  1. Go to the book store, I know Books A Million has a lot of books on the subject, I think you also need to learn Java applets something or other.
  2. First take a look at some of the examples and tutorials that come with dreamweaver. Also you can download the trial version of flash. again use tutorial to learn creating different dynamic objects and integrate them in ur web page.

  4. You cannot avoid having to know a web scripting or programming language like asp or php. If this is absolutely out of reach for you and it is super urgent, then you can get a free Content management System and customize it. Just search for "CMS" on google.
  5. first, you should learn a server-side language like PHP , it's very easy to learn and development is very quick. And you have to learn basic SQL, to make database queries. Then , you have to combine your php codes with your design (you can design your website using dreamweaver, it would be the fastest way, but i'd prefer to write all html-css-javascript codes myself). so, that's all... good luck

  7. it is very hard to learn web design but they say you can learn a language in just 2 months. a dynamic website requires programming skills. The languages that make this kind of site are asp (Active Server Pages) and php (hypertext pre-processor). asp uses the format of visual basic so if you have knowlege in visual basic it will be easy for you to learn asp. a lot of people prefer php coz its free. php follows the format of C in terms of programming. Perl is also good web tool but it is dos based and so its boring and it is not so common among web developers. if you want to make your site look good, java is a good tool for making beautiful effects on the button and everything. Try learning Adobe photoshop too and flash. these are great to incorporate on your site. Do you know that you can create a layout in adobe? You create a layout you want then use the slice tool. save it as a web page and you are ready to go. you might as well try database management. start on the MSAccess to learn the basics and advance to SQL Server coz it is more flexible. Oracle too is good but i prefer SQL. Database is usefull if you are doing a site that deals with records or just a simple password management. a lot of free tutorials are available online. just type asp+tutorial or php+tutorial and you will get a lot of help.
