Can I add an HTML editor to Tools/Programs, and how?

I use Windows XP and IE 7. When I go to Tools/Internet Options/Programs, the "HTML editor" form is blank. Also, how do I add a Calendar?

  1. I assume IE will detect if you have any software suitable for HTML editing and will list all possible softwares in that dropdown menu. At the very least, you should have Notepad in that list, since XP comes with Notepad installed. If you're looking for a good (free) editor, I would suggest TextPad.
