What's the best open-source HTML editor?

Hi everyone -- I need an HTML editor, but I really don't want to pay for Dreamweaver. Anyone have any suggestions?

  1. check homesite it's cheaper then Dreamweaver, and is a text based editor..
  2. I have both Homesite and Dreamweaver, and I'm sorry, but I have to recommend Dreamweaver.
