- I'm not saying that it's the best one, as for I don't have a good point of comparison but for webpage desigh I coul suggest you to try Macromedia (now Adobe) Dreamweaver Mx or a higher version, and Photoshop for Web Design. For more sophisticated web design tools you could also use Adobe Flash and Fireworks. For web-page publishing oyu could use google for example I think they also make it possible for you to publish your web-page for free, but in exchange for this on the top or the bottom of the page the label "Google" will appear.
- You could try Fookes Sofware's 'NOTETAB' their blurb from http://www.notetab.com/ says it all and it 'does what it says on the tin'. "The ultimate free Notepad replacement and a handy HTML editor. Handle a heap of files with a simple tabbed interface. Search files, strip HTML tags and format text quickly. Build libraries of text macros to speed up your work. Formerly called "Super NoteTab". 100% freeware -- no ads and no nags."
- 1st Page 2000, free HTML editor that have a very good interface when you like to do the coding yourself (like me). I have tried allot but this has done the trick for me. Try to find 1st page 2000 NOT 2006 the older version is still better.
