  1. You can use any text editor (e.g Notepad, Wordpad etc) to create html files. If it is something like Frontpage it will be in the header information at the top - take it into Notepad to see this information
  2. If you are familiar with html just use your notepad or wordpad to write it! If you are refering to a page you already have up, go to where you have it stored and you will probably find an editor.
  3. a simple html editor is NOTEPAD if know how to write html codes after that u can save the file with .htm extension if u r not aware with html programming u can use MicroSoft Frontage which use graphical Interface to design a HTML Page
  4. A HTML editor is a piece of software that allows you to edit HTML pages. This can be software such as Frontpage, Dreamweaver even Notepad (as HTML is just a text file containing certain code that allows it to be display as a web page). I presume you have asked this question because in one of your default setting you do not have a HTML editor default set. Click on START > CONTROL PANEL > INTERNET OPTIONS and then select the PROGRAMS tab. You will see a list of prefered program to use. Click on the drop down list next to HTML editor and select the program you want to use as your HTML editor. NOTE - this is only useful to you if you intend to edit HTML.
