Posting a link to funky chicken html for someone asking html help is a result of violation?

Someone asked for help on html tips and I gave them a link to Funky Chickens html website. And I got an email this morning saying it was against the policy? How is that possible when I see tons of other websites being posted like that? Thank you about the warning and pop ups. I didn't know, all that is blocked on my computer. Thank you for all the answers.

  1. It's a stretch, but I guess it could be seen as a violation. I'm sure what you were doing was giving an example of posting a link. The best way to answer that question is to simply explain how to post a link. I usually explain and then add "be sure to copy the http:// to make it a clickable link", but I don't paste an actual link. The example isn't really necessary. It could be seen as posting a link that's not related to the question, or solicitation. Had you posted a link to a Yahoo! Answers Help page that explained how to post a link, that probably wouldn't have been reported.
  2. If you'll notice that website forces pop-ups and a security warning shows too, that may be the problem.
