I have tons of used books. What is the best online auction site to sell them?
Mostly they are romance novels.

- amazon.com
- Amazon is a great place to sell used books, although it's not an auction. You list them and there are no fees until the book sells. Then they take a percentage. Look up the book and see if there are any used copies. That will give you an idea of how much the book is worth. Usually on ebay books like that bundled into a group for auction. The fees to sell individual books can add up unless they are rare or in high demand. You also have to figure your shipping costs.
- No doubt about it EBAY
- Amazon is the best on line source; but it is a lot of trouble. IF you don't have a problem meeting the public then consider selling your books, and any other odds and ends you would like to move out of your home, at a local flea market. I worked one where I lived before and did great!. I got to meet lots of neat people (and a few not so neat) and I sold quite a lot of my stuff. Sometimes you can trade with other vendors for something you would rather have. Any way you go at it don't expect to get a lot of money back on your books. On line or at a flea market people don't want to pay much for used books. Mine were pristine and still had like new book jackets and people still didn't want to pay much more than $5 for the really big books.
- You can check out http://www.fetchbid.com They are a search Engine just for online auctions. They search numerous Auction sites...they may show you one you may not know of.
- Sell on ebay, amazon or yahoo shopping. Plus if you want to do this in the long run you can side by side also start your own online shopping website by going to http://www.theexpomart.com from where you can get you own online Store for FREE plus with free hosting etc.
