Where can I learn how to create HTML codes for graphics and text for my blog?

I recently began a blog and I am trying to teach myself HTML so that I can redesign my template. I have noticed some sites on the net (i.e. "blogthings") have different quizzes and things you can add to your blog by simply cutting and pasting the html code provided. Where can I learn how to create my own fun things to add to my blog?

  1. Try myspace. Sounds corny... but it's usefull.
  2. And you also may take a look in here ->> http://www.melbpc.org.au/pcupdate/2112/2112article3.htm Also, some help in colors , here: ->>http://www.returnofdesign.com/colors/
  3. The quizzes and such are typically done via some third party site, run an internet search for "blog quizzes" or something like that, you'll probably find what you're looking for. The way these are "coded" are using javascript (most of the time). If you search the internet for "javascript blog quiz" or something like that, you may actually find the code for a simple quiz that you can edit to suit your needs.
  4. try blogger.com help
  5. This is HTML in general, but learning it all, while it may seem intimidating at first, can actually pay off if you're in charge of it, yourself. Try this site: www.htmlgoodies.com They've also got lots of other HTML related newsletters, and even some additional, specialized tutorials that you can search. In addition, you can grab a few books from Barnes and Noble. One that I'd recommend is the HTML for the World Wide Web, Fifth Edition, which is written by Elizabeth Castro. It's got easy-to-follow directions to code in HTML, utilize CSS, and other things. It's pretty user-friendly, and it even has some pictures to guide you along and clarify ideas being discussed.
