unable loading anything other than basic HTML. does anyone know what's wrong?

On my Windows XP I can only load basic HTML webpages. I can't even load Gmail, or Yahoo. Does anyone know why and how to solve the problem? Thanks in advance. i'm alrdy using firefox and uninstalled and reinstalled

  2. Tools-Internet options-general tab Delete your temp files and cookies. Security tab. Reset all zones to default level. Advanced tab. Restore defaults. Turn off your firewall. Update flash player at www.adobe.com Update Java at www.java.com If it works until you turn your firewall on-call your security provider. If it doesn't work reinstall your browser or update it or call your computer manufacturer if you have warranty left.
