- You could try looking through tucows.com for one or something like http://www.aptana.com/ but of course my personal favorite is notepad++ but that doesn't have a preview Alleycode has a preview its not the greatest but its still somewhat a preview
- Free HTML editor http://theclickinfo.com/Html_editor.video
- NotePad++ is really awesome but it doesn't have a preview. http://www.pagebreeze.com/ seems to have a pretty good one, but I haven't tried it yet.
- Look at Kompozer or NVU. Both are free.
- Try http://htmledit.squarefree.com/ I believe it is exactly what you are looking for - I use it quite frequently and it's a great tool. It changes as you type - in real-time - and has adjustable sections, meaning that you can enlarge top or bottom as required depending on which side your working on. All the best, mate!
- You can use a simple Testbed just as well. When you've viewed the output, just back button back to the bed and tweak the source which is still there. http://thurmania.com/Testbed.html This one can be coded to open in another frame which you could have on the same page, but I've found that to be a pain and no real help. Many complete webpages have been built in this one and then C/Ped into my server Editing box. Take it and put it on your own page with your own tutorials. Be sure to see the Visibone Span page, it's grrrrrrrrreat.!!!!
- Try this: http://www.boltbait.com/htmleditor/ Most similar to what you are looking for, and the smallest filesize to boot!
