  4. do not learn HTML off a website, they arre completely not organized enough for you to follow Get a book, the one I used was "Learn HTML4 in a Weekend" and I learned it in a weekend ^_^ everything you could know about it... btw after that you will want to learn CSS, also pick up a copy of Sams Learn CSS in 10 minute lessons before this i had no html background or programming bg, html is not a programming language btw when you get into advanced web designing you can learn PHP witch is a program language for websites.
