HTML help!! Trouble viewing pictures in Firefox after putting in the correct code for the picture?

I'm trying to use notepad and html to create a web page (so I can learn more about it) but whenever I use the code for pictures or videos in notepad, I save it, check my browser and the logo, pictures, background or videos do not show up. Is there a function in Firefox to not allow this, or is it my computer. I've checked the code a thousand times and its the way it should be... thanks! Pictures are now showing up, but the background isn't...

  1. It's always best to test your pages on more than one browser when building. That way you can determine whether or not it's a problem with the rendering or with the code itself. Try installing Safari or Opera and testing it on that. Best of luck, HTML can be infuriating at the start.
  2. are you sure you've got the extension right? If you don't save as "page.html" WITH the quotation marks, then your page won't show up.
