How can I edit free html or css templates so i can customise them for my site?

I have a new community website at http:www.blackcountrygob.com. The website portal was built by someone I am no longer in contact with and I would like to add new areas to the site and also to improve things but I simply have no clue what I'm doing. If you take a look at the site you will see various links to other areas. The jukebox for example is a plain page with the music player embedded in but it looks plain and boring as does the games section. I would like to use free templates as a base for these sections but just do not know how to use them can anyone offer any help. It's a free to join, non profit group with a decent aim but needs assistance to get it lkooking good. I have very limited knowldge and use frontpage so any help would be appreciated. Basic explanation please as i'm sort of thick where it comes to web design lol

  1. You will need to find a free template that appeals to what you are looking for. Edit the template and add your content. Changing a "free" web template is pretty self explanatory just delete/replace the "ipsum ad norta" filler content with your own. Make the jukebox players smaller and spaced out at least 15px.
