Layout Question, Thanks in advance!!?

http://twinscards.com/ I came across this really, really nice site above - I really like the layout and style. How can I make a new website that looks like this? I currently have a website on geocities but being that it is a free site, the site often closes out viewers. I posted this question earlier and the response that I got was "There is nothing in there that would cost you anything. A little bit of javascript, and a .css (cascading style sheet) tied to a table format. Look up .css files, they vastly improve the presentation of an HTML page. They can be a separate file, or included in the header of the page itself." I am not familiar with .css and I wanted to know if someone could please help me out. I would really, really appreciate it. Thank you.

  1. You can simply steal this layout quite easily. Download GetLeft: http://www.download.com/Getleft/3000-2071_4-10294969.html?tag=lst-4-5 Use it to copy the site to your computer. Now, you can modify it to suit your needs, provided you have an HTML WYSIWYG editor, such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver or the like. In all honesty, if you're not familiar with HTML, CSS and the like, you're probably not going to be albe to modify this site to suit your needs. In re: Your Geocities shutdown issue, try Freewebs, which doesn't limit bandwidth as intensively as Yahoo does.
  2. Microsoft (free domain and hosting for life) , Google (Googlepages, Blogger) , Yahoo (Geocities), Freewebs are some of the companies offering free websites with design tools . A list of free websites with features and links is available at http://tinyurl.com/lw7kp
